Rubbing is Racing!!!!

MOMENTUM and PARTICIPATION  continue for SCOPE!!!!!  In case you have missed the news....SCOPE is on a roll!!!!  Thursday night, 35 SCOPE enthusiasts showed up at Dromo One in Orange and had the all time SCOPE go cart night.  The troops were divided up into seven 5-person teams. 

Team Regal, lead by team Captain Bob Teague captured the 2002 Spring Go-Cart Championship. After racing for two consecutive hours, Team Regal outlasted Wayne Lee's Team Seaswirl by 17 seconds. Teague's championship team consisted of members John Teague, Kyle Joiner, Dave Hangerand Robert Sherman.  The racing was intense and there were numerous black flags and yellow flags throughout the evening as the winning team completed 192 laps!!!  Jim Dunphey's Team Maxim finished third, two laps behind the front runners.
