First Run of the YEAR!!!!

The first SCOPE Catalina Run (April 13th) was a big success! We had about 25 boats attend and I counted well over 75 people! Participation and fun is the name of the game in SCOPE. We all dined at the Blue Parrot on Crescent with a great view of Avalon Harbor, a few who paid less attention to details on the e-mail ate alone. The weather was perfect, smooth seas with 1-2 miles visibility on the way over and a bit rough on the way home. 

After the lunch feast many of the group paid a visit to BIG OLAF'S for the traditional dessert started by Stan Leder some 7 years ago. The day culminated with a few shoppers and a few libations in Luau Larry's, Beth and I celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary that day.
